That was a sensational victory for Paula and Matt in Micklefield. As one of the County Councillors for the area, I am enthused by the new opportunities to enhance services and the environment in Micklefield. With four Liberal Democrats representing the area, I think we will be able to make a real impact with an activist team.
I wish Paula and Matt every success in the next 4 years, Julia

I will be voting for you this time hoping that unlike your leadership you will not renege on any promises you make.
The leadership of your party made me lose total confidence, and I believe are a complete embarrisment to the average Lib Dem supporter.

The Daws Hill abandoned former RAF base is still available and for sale cheaply with easy railway/bus and motorway links, if London Wasps wants to develop a site let them buy this land for the stadium/housing estate and not use green belt land owned by WDC taxpayers. London Wasps want the taxpayer to provide land and pay for thier housing estate, why should we? Business has been forced out of the area already to make way for housing estates (GPlan, Ercol etc), why close down business in Booker as has happened at Sands due to double yellow lines/traffic and unruly drunken yobs. Daws Hill site will not involve the closure of any business and affect only a few very influential/important people who have had more than enough influence.

It is as well to remember that the Wasps submitted an application for a new club shop on site at Sands in the Green Belt on the basis declared by thier planning consultant Phillipa Jarvis that the shop was essential to the financial survival of London Wasps. Has any one been in the recently built shop which is virtually empty and seems to be used as a dumping ground. If the application for the Wasps shop was based on untruths just to generate square footage as a bargaining ploy for future development then how can we trust these developers again. I understand Ms Jarvis is also a private consultant planner for W.D.C. conflict of interest or what?

Hi

I take the local Lib/Dem's are against this stadium, can you confirm, because if so you have my full support and vote in the next local electioon. This is comming from a life long Tory.

I understand that a blog against the stadium has been set-up. It was mentioned in the Bucks Free Press, but as expected they did not give the address. If this is true and you know the address of this blog can you let have it. There is a meeting at Cressex School tomorrow and I would like to publish it there.

Especially as we no longer have a Free local press in Wycombe.
