Residents from across Wycombe came together today and brought the Town Centre to a standstill
as they demonstrated against the plans to build a Rugby Stadium on the Green Belt at Booker.
Councillor Simon Parker who represents the Booker area and has campaigned against the plans said “It
was a great turnout and sends a clear message to the Conservative Cabinet which meets on Monday that
they should say NO to Booker. They have wasted enough of our money on this white elephant and
should stick to their manifesto pledge to protect the Green Belt.”
