Hi Neil
Agree totally on need for buses
Whats needed is a cohesive transport strategy and a bus service for 21st Century -- unfortunatelly Bucks Council and its partners dont deliver the service we need .They are not investing in delivering the level of service to allow people to leave cars at home --- assuming you can park your car at home and there is a parking space in the area!

However territorial people may feel about it, the fact of the matter is that the roadway outside your house is NOT part of your property, and you have no more right to park there than to park on any other stretch of roadway. The problem is stated as being "not enough off-road public parking", but how much MORE of Wycombe are we supposed to agree to have tarmacced-over?! The REAL problem is too many cars, and too much unthinking reliance on them. ONE of the answers to that is to REDUCE available parking space, not to increase it. If you repeatedly can't find a place to park (but there is a public transport or 'soft-mode' alternative available, then the evidence is that people reduce their use of cars and switch modes - which is what we ought to be seeking to achieve.
