On my membership card it says we believe in "a fair, free and open society, in which we seek to balance the fundamental values of liberty, equality and community, and in which no-one shall be enslaved by poverty, ignorance or conformity". Nick and I may differ on belief in God, but we share those core values. What do you believe in, Mrs Clarke (apart from the importance of good grammar?).
