Wycombe District Council has been rolling out a fortnightly collection system for some time now. It has been controversial, to say the least, with one national newspaper branding us ‘The Town Where Only The Rats are Happy’. Oddly enough, whilst our scheme is being introduced by a Tory council, in other areas the Tories have campaigned against fortnightly collection!
