Goodman backs Blair (again!)

Wycombe Conservative MP Paul Goodman has again voted with Blair on a key vote.

This time was the decision to spend billions on replacing Trident. The last time was when he backed the invasion of Iraq – and we know how good that decision was.

There is considerable evidence that a decision on replacing Trident should have been delayed for a number of years, thereby giving the government of the future the chance to assess the threat posed.

The Liberal Democrats agreed with this analysis and voted against renewing now and for referring the decision until a later date.

Paul Goodman and the rest of his so called opposition voted with Blair & Brown to renew Trident now and consequently spend billions of tax payers’ money on it.

The next time Paul Goodman complains that our local Hospital is not getting enough funds or that the Council tax is going up then he could do well to reflect upon his actions.
