Written by morty on January 10, 2007 – 3:55 pm -Wycombe Wanderers take on the might of Chelsea tonight in the first leg of the Carling Cup Semi-Final. This is the biggest game in their history since….. well the last major semi final in 2001! It is truly amazing that in this football age when money talks, a club the size of Wycombe can reach two major semi-finals in a decade. They are a real asset to our Town, something which our local Council could well do to remember.
If you are travelling to the game tonight please make use of the park and ride facility.
Come on Wycombe.

Congrats to Wycombe and everyone who roared them on in what was a great night for our town. Chelsea were fortunate to come away with a draw.
It’s only half time but we have every chance in the second leg if the players and the fans put in an even greater effort in the second leg.
A cup final place is up for grabs and we can get there!
